Tulipmania 2013 - Singapore

Last weekend I went to Gardens By The Bay to take a look on some tulips. The event is called Tulipmania is held in Singapore from 29 April - 20 May 2013. The show is sponsored by KLM airlines and showcases 20,000 tulips directly flown from Netherlands.

We paid $10 for single conservatory because I'm holding Passion Card membership (usual price is $12 for single conservatory). However, they asked us to show our IC to prove that we were residents.

Travel Tips: How To Travel Comfortably

Whether you're taking long haul trip or short one, it is necessary to feel comfortable during the travelling time.

Here I collect some tips and tricks on how to travel comfortably:

1. Layer your clothing
Because you may not know how the temperature like during the travelling time. When you layer up your clothes, you can easily remove some when it feels hot or add more layer when it's getting colder. Don't wear something too tight.

2. One hand carry to the plane
It's troublesome to bring so many bags on board. You need to lift it up and down from and into cabin. Try to carry only one hand bag. Check-in your other luggage if possible to reduce hassle.

3. Shade or eye mask to cover your eye
Don't forget your shade or eye mask to protect your eyes from too bright sun light.

4.  Hydrate
Always remember to drink enough water to avoid dehydration. Avoid drinking caffeine too much. Put on face mask if you're on long haul to keep your skin hydrated.

5. Bring entertainment
It can be a book or magazine to read or your tablet to catch up your pre-downloaded shows. You can entertain yourself while waiting to board the airplane or during flight.

Travelling Tips for Make-up/Skincare

1. Keep it simple
Always try to keep your make-up or skincare routine basic and simple during travelling.

2. Must-bring items
Wherever you go for travelling, make sure you bring these basic items: cleanser, moisturizer, sunblock

3. Small size
Bring all in small sizes of less than 100ml each is probably known thing for travellers. If you are frequent traveller, it's good to have them all in one grab-n-go pouch.

4. Face Mask & Lip balm for Long Haul
Always bring a face mask and lip balm in your hand carry bag to use during flight. Pressure on board can dehydrates your skin.
